Your weekly dose of creative inspiration, resources and awesomeness.
Here are Weekly Wonders 51’s champions:
Web: Design Resource Box
At Design Resource Box, you’ll find a repository of inspirational posts, neat jQuery functions, textures, PSD files, themes and more. It’s a useful design blog for curious graphic and web designers out there.
Photo: Chun An
Chun An is a Taiwanese photographer. Equipped with analogue cameras like Pentax and Polaroid (to name only two), he captures stunning scenery and portraits of East Asia. The scenes of everyday life featured in his gallery are particularly beautiful and innocent, a must-see.
Art: Tomasz Namielski
Tomasz Namielski is a Polish concept artist currently residing and working in the UK. He paints beautiful characters in evocative settings as well as sceneries, each creation acting as a narrative, a story being told without words.
Freebie: Photoshop Action: Black and White
You like experimenting with your photos? You might find this Photoshop Black and White action interesting; it will transform your images into high-contrast black and white photos… in one click.
App: PhotoToaster Jr. – Free
PhohoToaster Jr. is a photo editing app for iPhone, iPod and iPad that offers over 30 filters and manual light, contrast, saturation, cropping and color adjustments. Most of the filters are pretty boring in my opinion, but I know it can serve iphoneographers who only want to make light color and style edits to their photos. It’s a fairly good app overall and it’s free.
